What if we have a smaller group of only 2 to 4 people? Each of our targets can handle up to 6 throwers so if you have a group smaller than 6, chances are you will be throwing with others. Don’t worry, they’re getting out and throwing axes too so that already means that they’re way beyond cool, and it’s a great way to meet new friends
Where is Downtown Axe House located? Downtown Axe House is located inside Quantum Leap Trampoline Sports Arena at 117 E. King Street, downtown Johnson City, Tennessee.
What hours are you open for throwing axes? Our Downtown Axe House hours are different from the Quantum Leap Trampoline Sports Arena hours but our typical hours are Thursday through Sunday. Check with google or facebook for updated operating hours. https://www.facebook.com/badlaxe/
How much does it cost to throw axes? Throwing axes is $18+ tax per person for one hour.
Can someone teach me how to throw? Each lane has a dedicated coach to initially show you the best axe throwing techniques, then to guide your throwing if wanted/needed. Your dedicated coach will be there for you during your entire hour of throwing.
How old do you have to be to throw axes at Downtown Axe House? Our minimum age for throwing axes is 13 years old. Do you have children under the age of 13? Don’t sweat it! Let them have a great time playing laser tag, jumping in the largest trampoline arena in the state of Tennessee, or playing in our large arcade. There’s something fun for everyone in the family, all ages and all under one roof!
How many people can we have in a group? We have 4 lanes with 2 targets in each lane. There can be up to 6 throwers on each target so a group of up to 12 can throw in each lane. If there are more than 12 in your group, just make the necessary additional number of reservations in the lane next to you.
Can we reserve private axe throwing time? We offer private throw times for corporate team building, bachelor/bachelorette events, parties, etc. Call us at 423-928-5327 to reserve your special time outside of our regular hours.
Do we have to make reservations or can we just walk in? You can always walk in but we strongly recommend making a reservation. Many weekends, we are sold out.
What kind of food and drink does Downtown Axe House offer? We have both alcohol and non alcohol drinks including beer, wine coolers, seltzers, sodas, water, coffee and slushies. We also offer a choice of many different food options.
